Registration Terms in Preliminary Races for Falcons “Telwah” 1. Registration is open for all Nationalities. 2. Register using either Emirates ID or the Passport for non-residents in UAE. 3. Sign an undertaking from the owner or his representative regarding the ownership of the falcons. 4. The owner or their nominated representative are obliged to sign on the registration information form, and they shall be responsible for any misinformation or false data that may be given. 5. The committee will not accept the registration of any falcon from "jeer falcon" category, without the farm ring. 6. Falconers are not allowed to participate with the non-registered falcons without a smart ring (MG Ring). 7. The falcons with the smart ring, which has been installed by the EFCAD, are allowed to participate in the races. 8. The obligation to bring only falcons that are going to participate in the preliminary races according to registration dates, shall be determined by the organizing committee to complete the registration according to the following: - Provision of falcon’s ID. - Photography of falcon. - Installation of smart ring. - Signing the oath, whether by the owner or their representative. |
- Smart ring setup fee is AED 50.
- Administrative fee of AED 500 shall apply when transferring the ownership of the falcon (changing the owner’s name).
- The fee for losing the smart ring fee is AED 50.
- If it is proven that the smart ring is damaged, it will be replaced without additional charges. (The damaged ring shall be returned at the registration counter)
- The registration fees contained in these regulations are subject to change based on the decision of the tournament organizing committee.
- All the (registration, smart ring setup, and administrative) fees belong to the Hamdan Bin Mohammed Heritage Center. Unless the registration was done by the EFCAD.
If a participant has altered, opened, or removed the falcon's smart ring, it may result in any of the following penalties and is determined by the head of the race organizing committee: 1- Pay AED 1,000 2- Cancellation of their participation in one of the Federation’s preliminary races and prevent of activating or transferring ownership of all falcons in all categories registered under their name. 3- Cancellation of their participation in one season of the Federation’s preliminary races, de-activating or barring any transfer of ownership of all falcons from all categories registered under their name. |
- Race distance shall be 400 Meter. (Telwah Races)
- The time is counted by the smart monitoring device that monitors the flying period from distance A (Start Line) to distance B (Finish Line), and this sensor is connected to software and screens to display the result.
- In case a falcon that was on the correct flight path and their result is not recorded, the committee will review the falcon's record (videos) and allocate the appropriate time.
- Invite only by Telwah, and the falconer must be commitment to specific telwah point.
- The falconer may wear the traditional dress of the country to which they belong.
- The falcon shall be disqualified if it takes more than one minute for the falcon to start the flight from start line.
For the UAE Falcons Federation races, such as the preliminary races the e-Preparation and shuffling (for start time) for all falcons shall be done one day before the relevant races.

- Hamdan Bin Mohammed Heritage Centre is the authority responsible for supervising and implementing the functions of the technical and organizing committees responsible for managing the Federation's preliminary races in Al Ruwayyah Field – Dubai.
- All terms and conditions applied by the Hamdan Bin Mohammed Heritage Center are approved by the UAE Falcons Federation.
- Precautionary measures to fight COVID-19 will be implemented in accordance with protocols approved by the Supreme Crisis and Disaster Management Committee in Dubai.
- The participation of falconers in the hadad area is prohibited, except in the national dress, unless the participating falcon is in his personal name.
- A participant shall be excluded if they do not reach the race site on the specified announced time.
- The committee will exclude any falcon that is found to be different from the category specified on race day.
- It is forbidden to push the falcon by the falconer at the flight launch or any movement that suggests pushing. The falcon shall be disqualified in case of such violation.
- In case where a falconer is unable to reach the start line even after the committee has made an announcement, the committee reserves the right to exclude the falconer from the race.
- The regulations and laws concerning matters (such as smoking, littering etc.) at the championship site must be adhered to, at all times.
- The falconer is obliged to read all the terms and conditions of the preliminary races and shall be held responsible for not respecting or violating the laws and regulations.
- The organizing committee has the right to delay or postpone the race in case of any unfavorable weather changes affecting the race system or preventing the sighting of the Telwah or for any other reason. The committee may postpone the remaining falconers for a later time, as determined by the organizing committee.
- The Organizing Committee is the competent authority to implement this regulation and it has the right to interpret any article of the regulation or to issue decisions complementing it in the facts overlooked by the provisions of the regulation.
